PRESENTER:
Jessica Gonzalez, General Manager of Auto and Vice President of Customer Success, Informed.IQ
ABOUT THE WEBINAR:
Auto lending fraud is no longer slow-moving or easy to spot. Organized fraud rings using AI-generated documents, synthetic identities, and bust-out schemes are outpacing the risk models and verification systems most lenders have in place today. In fact, three-quarters of lenders say fraud has increased materially year over year, and 55 percent say their loans carry double-digit losses attributable to document fraud, according to Informed’s 2026 Auto Finance Fraud Intelligence Survey.
This session digs into how the fraud landscape has shifted and what lenders are doing about it. Jessica Gonzalez of Informed.IQ examines both documentary fraud, where AI fabrication now defeats visual inspection entirely, and non-documentary fraud, where synthetic identities and bust-out patterns exploit gaps invisible to any single lender. Attendees will learn how cross-lender network intelligence, non-documentary verification strategies, and purpose-built AI are helping forward-looking institutions detect fraud earlier, protect their portfolios, and maintain the funding speed borrowers and dealers expect.
