Cheryl Nuttall

Cheryl Nuttall is a proven leader with over 30 years’ experience designing, implementing, and managing engagement and incentive platforms worldwide. In 1996, Cheryl founded, Incentec Solutions, a company that specialized in engagement technology strategy and design, client systems integration and associated support services. Incentec’s flagship product, Aspire®, a SaaS based incentive rules engine, was launched that same year and was the driving force behind tailored client solutions that incent and engage employees, customers, channel distribution partners and resellers worldwide. In 2014, Incentec Solutions was acquired by Blackhawk Network becoming a foundational layer in supporting their mission to expand incentive reward solutions across the globe.

Cheryl’s active mind and unending passion to innovate would not allow her to retire.  Instead, she leads our product innovation and enterprise strategy for our loyalty division and provides direction and leadership to our teams and clients.  She focuses on market trends, technology advancements and consumer behavior defining strategies, educating clients, and implementing new products.  Cheryl is a consummate studier of consumer behavior, generational differentiators, and market innovators, masterfully connecting the dots. She has a keen ability to communicate her vision, build passion around the possibilities and motivate a team of professionals to turn her vision into reality.  She is an innovative, out-of-the-box thinker working in partnership with clients and product teams to solve problems and move business forward.   Her passion is combining technology and best practices to unlock the power of engagement and drive customer relationships forward.  During her extensive career, she designed many loyalty products catering to the Fortune 500 giving her a variety of perspectives. Using those perspectives, she is constantly evaluating everything we do through the lens of end users, many times anticipating consumer reaction and influencing FIS design processes proactively. 

Cheryl is a certified loyalty professional and has been nominated for the 2023 Women in Payments Innovation Award and is the recipient of our 2024 Card and Money Movement Division Innovator Award.  She was also featured in the Wise Marketer’s Women in Loyalty series showcasing innovators and drivers within our industry.  Cheryl naturally mentors all she interacts with; teaching and leading by example to help others advance their careers within FIS.  She and her husband Todd live in AZ and enjoy the desert skyline.  Together they have 5 children and 15 grandchildren.  Cheryl enjoys her family close by and Sunday dinners fill her home with blissful noise.  During her down time, she loves to relax camping outdoors, enjoys water sports and is an avid reader.  Cheryl gives back to the community by leading many young woman’s groups and focuses her time on developing their communication skills, confidence levels and helps them face life’s challenges.
