CBA Recognizes 2024 Executive Banking School Graduates, Announces Tem Wooldridge Award Winner
The Consumer Bankers Association (CBA) today concluded its 73rd annual Executive Banking School (EBS), the premier advanced educational program for future leaders in retail banking. Adam James Funke from KeyBank was also named the 2024 Tem Wooldridge Award winner.
CBA President and CEO Lindsey Johnson released the following statement recognizing 107 bankers who graduated:
"Congratulations to the CBA Executive Banking School Class of 2024, honors graduates, and Tem Wooldridge Award recipient Adam Funke from KeyBank.
“These bankers have dedicated the last three years to excelling in our rigorous curriculum to graduate from EBS, which will serve as a launching pad to further their careers as the future leaders for our industry.
“Further, CBA is heartened by the robust investments made by our member banks to support EBS for more than seven decades to ensure the industry has a diverse, competitive, and accomplished talent pool that will help to ensure America’s leading retail banks are well-positioned to thrive for years to come."
2024 Tem Wooldridge Award Winner
During Tuesday’s graduation ceremony, KeyBank’s Adam James Funke was named this year’s Tem Wooldridge Award winner.
Established in 2002 to honor long-time faculty member, Tem Leslie Wooldridge, this award recognizes the top EBS student each year who demonstrates outstanding academic performance, high integrity, and a strong work ethic. In addition to academic merit, Tem Wooldridge Award winners possess the necessary character and leadership skills to bring out the best in their teammates. Award winners are selected by EBS faculty, with input from senior class peers.

CBA’s Executive Banking School provides future bank leaders with the comprehensive, holistic perspective of retail banking required to lead effectively amidst industry shifts. EBS is centered around an engaging curriculum taught by expert industry executives. This year’s program was the largest on record, featuring more than 380 bankers from 33 financial institutions.
