Weston Loyd

Weston is an experienced communications professional who currently serves as Vice President, Press Secretary at the Consumer Bankers Association, which is the only member-driven trade association that focuses on retail banking.

He previously worked at the highest levels of American politics, including on Capitol Hill and at The White House. In addition to federal government communications roles, Weston has worked on political campaigns at congressional, gubernatorial and presidential levels. Following stints with the government and political campaigns, he took his expertise to two global public affairs firms where he advised Fortune 500 clients on a variety of issues, such as crisis communications, thought leadership and executive visibility.

Weston holds a bachelor’s degree in integrated strategic communications from the University of Kentucky and a master’s degree in public relations and corporate communications from Georgetown University.
