The way American consumers are fulfilling their banking needs has dramatically changed, and it will continue to do so. The program explores the resulting effects on consumers and the challenges for the industry.  Additionally, it examines how banks are using this opportunity to create a modern experience for consumers.

Drawing upon ITN’s 60-year history and expertise, the program highlights the breadth of the industry and focuses on technological, regulatory and economic disruptions.  It examines the modern meaning of a bank ‘branch’, consumer preferences and the ever-increasing ubiquity of payments.  The program also delves into the cultivation of the next generation of banking leaders, discussing their current perception of the industry.

Seeking to heighten awareness among policy makers, politicians and the wider industry, the piece features the industry’s forward-thinking initiatives.  It also highlights current efforts to ensure banks are appropriately supported to meet the needs of consumers.

Banking Revolution is an in-depth, online program providing a unique platform to stimulate debate. It aims to champion collaboration, celebrate innovation and encourage an exchange of ideas.

The piece combines key interviews and reports with sponsored editorial profiles from several leading banks and organizations.

Banking Revolution will premiere at CBA’s annual conference, CBA LIVE 2017, taking place April 3-5, at the Gaylord Texan in Dallas. The program will feature CBA members, professional partners, influential individuals within government as well as journalists, writers and bloggers.

Jeannie Bunton, EVP Communications and Marketing and Chief of Staff at CBA, said: “In today’s hyper-fast, on-demand world, consumers want things whenever, wherever and however is most convenient to them.  Our members realize banking is no different.  We are pleased to be working with ITN Productions to tell this great story about how our members are taking banking into the 21st Century.”

Simon Shelley, Head of Industry News, ITN Productions, said: “ITN Productions is delighted to be working with the Consumer Bankers Association, in examining how banks in the U.S. are meeting consumer needs in an era of digitization and connected commerce.  We’re excited to embark on this project, and to engage with key organizations and people dedicated to shaping the future of banking in America.”
